Team
Awareness & Focus A one day workshop focused on organization and team goals, as
well as a team profile of the individual work styles of team members, including strengths
and potential issues. The goal of the day is to enhance the team's performance in a
session that is productive and enjoyable.
Step 1 - Gathering data
We
meet with the team leader to determine her/his goals for the process. We then create
appropriate questions for the team member interviews. Each team member is interviewed
in person or via telephone to determine her/his view of the organization (goals,
culture, etc.) and how the team is functioning.
Each
participant completes a work-style measure.
Step 2 - Reporting the findings
We
develop a thorough report based on data gathered in Step 1 that is full of valuable
information . The report includes a comprehensive profile of individual and team work
styles, the interview findings and team strengths and potential issues.
Prior
to Step 3, we review the report with the team leader to determine which issues and
findings should be highlighted in the workshop.
Phase 3 - Team workshop (1 day)
The
workshop includes:
Introduction
to the behavioral characteristics of people and jobs
A
comprehensive review of individual and team work styles.
A
discussion of the report findings and team objectives, focusing on key goals and next
steps.
Phase 4 - Follow-up (optional)
We
will conduct a half-day follow-up team meeting to check status of commitments and progress
toward accomplishing team goals and to make any necessary modifications. This usually
takes place 60 to 90 days after the workshop.
